A knife filled with Finnish stamina, "sisu".
At the end of the handle is a lion cast in bronze. The knife carries with it the strong spirit of the Finnish stamina and perseverance by means of which our forefathers secured the independence and security of our nation. The lion is an essential figure of Finland's coat of arms. It represents Finland and its citizens’ freedom, firmness and steadfastness.
